once again the GOLDEN CORRAL resturant chain is having its "MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT" November 10th from 1700 to 2100 hours. any vet, active duty, NG or Reserves can get a free buffet meal and drink, and no proof of service is required. GOLDEN CORRAL does this every year. i don't know of any other chain that does this, not McDougals, Wal-Mart, no one that seeks to honor those who served in such a way. i live too far away from one of their resturants to partake, but i did send the HQ an e-mail thanking them. :right:

My Boy Scout troop acts as guides each year. Crowd control and drink go geters for the vets waiting in line. It is one VERY crowded place. As you might expect they, the Coral, build up a tremendous amount of good will for do this.

My old boss used to take me to the corral at least twice a week...of course i used to make him get east texASS bbq twice a week, so it was fair. I always liked the corral, and now that I know aabout this, I will be even happier to eat there. I love this country. We are good people, and I don't care what france thinks. We are the best because our people really care and would do anything for the US.
