Normal 4th of July weather for this area

It's raining. It rains here every 4th of July. And the outside temp is down to 66 degrees.

Be pretty happy to trade weather with ya man! Raining is pretty much par for the course, happens about every other year here, but the 66 degrees is what sounds so appealing!

Funny I should post that. A storm just blew in from nowhere, and it's raining now, and the temps fell fast!

woke up to clouds and humidity. It finally cut loose around 3pm here. A good hard rain for 30 mins or so then was off and on for a little while longer. First rain we have had in quite some time. Nice and refreshing.

We have nothin but HOT!!! and DRY!!!!.... Typical Oklahoma summer, Stay inside, or in the shade. Drink plenty of liquids when out working, and WISH we had some of that rain and 66 degrees. But its all part of life around here. And as long as I wake up tomorrow morning. I am good to go.

High temp (102), high dew-point, and NO breeze here today. Nasty. Can't wait for a little rain and a temp break. Supposed to hit us by Sunday. Two more days of nasty.

We're all hoping and wishing for rain here in NE Oklahoma! Even the spring fed pond has dropped and I'll have to go out and fish it out if this keeps up. I would hate to lose all those tasty fishies! I wish I'd learned how to do a good rain dance!

Texas Panhandle

Pretty normal for fourth of July in one regard which is clear skies for fireworks. However, we are way too hot to early in the year so our area is replacing last year's drought with this year's evaporation. Looks like another bad year for agriculture in our region.
