I don't know the answer, but it sure looks like "big brother" from George Orwell's "1984" is on the horizon, and our privacy is about to go out the window! This is something that if real, needs to be kept out of the hands of the police, and anyone else dealing with the public. And I'm not too sure I'd want the **** thing looking at me at the airport!

this goes well beyond the realm of privacy. while the thing might be targeted from factory to just sense gun powder, drugs or other bad things i can see power hungry idiots mishandling it. be warned, these scanners will know if there is a gun in your pocket. walk into an airport with one accidentally, though concealed, and you are gonna be in a world of legal hurt.

with great power comes great responsibility...and i dont know anyone THIS responsible. Orwell missed his date by a few decades but its happening

Forty years ago, yes, but unfortunately, I have my doubts about today. All they have to do is tell the sheeple it's for their own good and will help stop terrorism, and they'll flock to the liberal agenda.

We need a new name for "liberals." The word implies liberty, when they stand for just the opposite.

Simple and short answer would be to find materials impervious to the laser wave lengths and wrap everything you want in that. By being scanned without you knowledge or consent is violation of probable cause.

Patriot act threw out probable cause. Another over reaction by our gov't for "our safety". I am curious if I hit the range before hand or do some reloading and forget to wash up if the sensor will go off. If so I think the TSA will know me on a first name basis in ATL. Just for kicks...

Liberals = Socialists = Communists = Control Freaks = Destroy America = Traitors only do that.
They have used our hard earned tax dollars which we shouldn't even have to pay, to create all these
'Machinations' to micro manage every living thing on earth, for total future chip controllability.
There have been good results with using Mylar Space blankets to form stealth areas from this and drones, but if they are absorbed, they will know that too. You will have to stand and fight. Period
A tin foil hat is supposed to be made out of Mylar. then, and yes, we may need an actual Mylar hat to block these demonic rays from violating your 4th Amendment, they already have safe wallets.
Dang, that stuff is noisy and it chafes you. Fire up the sewing machines. Make laser sensors.
For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. With unintended consequences.

If it has all that, it should tell ya if ya got some kind of disease. So instead of making it for Homeland Security, make it for hospitals and doctors offices for early detection of cancer or something like that. It really does sound far fetched though. But who am I? Never been accused of being a rocket scientist, that's for sure.

This was brought about by a consertive potus policy's not liberal policy's. One of the many examples of how the right is not always right.

However it got started, the point is that the current admin is the one moving it forward - they could just say NO, right?

The word Liberal's literal translation would be: To allow or provide much. Would it not? If one gives liberally, they give a lot. If one spends liberally, they spend a lot. The so called liberals in our nation do exactly the opposite, they take a lot. A lot of rights, a lot of freedoms, a lot of property, and a whole lot of political power and our money unto themselves. And what do they give us in return? Nothing but a hard ****ed time!

Libertarian implies liberty. A liberal is a dumbaz who wants to restrict yoaz and take your guns and leave you bareaz, then be a screaminaz for you to savetheiraz when some punkaz wants to shoottheiraz.
