Thumbs down Michael Savage

Does anyone listen to Michael Savage?

I ask this, because I just found my scribbled notes I started taking.
While sitting in my truck, trying to sleep in the hospital parking lot.
I could only stand to listen to this idiot for a short time. Before I got so mad that I took the dog out, & he took me for a long walk/drag.

He started off by bragging that he had given the NRA $25,000.00,and that he owns firearms. And that makes him a supporter gun rights.
This nut case, then kicked it into high gear, and started literally screaming about the murders at the Aurora movie theater. And said that the NRA was partially responsible for the massacre. Because they support the right that hunters can own drum magazines. (he called them barrel mags) That NO Americans should be allowed, or has the right to buy drum magazines for guns. And do to the shooter having a drum magazine, all those people are dead. And then went on to rant, that no civilian should be allowed to own body armor. And it should be illegal for anyone outside of law enforcement, & the militasry to own it. He kept interjecting his own rants, to say that he was on the rifle team in high school, and a gun owner. So don't call him anti gun!! Bla, Bla, Bla...

I am not very much into radio ranters

I have learned radio ranters lack consistency. They do try for a theme but stray from it on occasion. Also, as the years move forward they seem more and more stuck on the same intellectual plane. It seems to me they should be reading and growing intellectually. Eventually every program sounds a lot like every previous program other than for the occasional screw up of thought.

This is why I don't listen to any of the mainstream radio neo-cons. Coast To Coast when I can stay up late enough for it, and that's it.

Took me a bit.
But I found the audio, of the show I heard.
Listen to it for yourself, and give your opinion.

Micheal Savage is first and foremost, an entertainer. So I take everything he and all the other radio personalities say with a grain of salt.
I mostly listen to blues, rock or heavy metal or Willie Nelson when I'm on the road again anyhow.

I heard the same show and was quite disapointed. I always thought that he was smarter than what aired that day. Never once did I hear while I listened did he speak of a person should have been their armed with their own gun. Also was not said that the framers of the constitution wanted the people armed mightier than the government so as never to subjects of their will.

Savage, Limbaugh, Beck, O'Reilly, etc, etc, etc are all entertainers with a lucrative gig. Just like the klowns on the hard left though they are all pretty well surrounded with some real muscle toting firearms.....

PS: It is doubtful that any of the aforementioned "celebrities" could ever attain any elected office.

OK. So having donated $25 000 to the NRA, and the Batman shootin' bein' the NRA's fault, doesn't that give him 25 000 shares in the shootin? Besides, I agree that barrel mags should be banned. Any mag that goes anywhere except the breech won't work, and should therefore be banned. No Brainer. As far as body armor goes, he is exceptionally well informed. Apart from military, and para-military, the only guys allowed to own body armor are bad guys. Oh, not? My bad. Evil characters will not be allowed to own body armor, and they will not break the rules, because that's a 25 yard penalty.

THE SAVAGE NATION with Michael Savage (HOUR 1) 07-25-2012 [Bogdanovich & movies] - YouTube

I only got half way through this and I would have to call TROLL on it. I love his mis-informed view on Body Armour... Years ago in the Army. I put on the "bullet proof vest". A friend thought that it would be funny to throw a punch. He hit me so hard that it took me a bit to get my breath back. I DO NOT want to be shot wearing it (ok, I would rather be shot wearing it than not). I would live through it, but I would still be in a world of hurt.

I'm sorry to say I've heard of him, andheard of his ideas of what's right and what's not right. The guy is a national troll, and some even think of him as an entertainer. I think of him as a big bag of hot air, and the crap he spews over the air waves should have a caution sign attached. I don't listen to him because it would give me more trouble with my blood pressure! We the people shall NOT be infringed, but he doesn't seem to understand those simple words. The shooter could have been stopped, but those who knew about him chose a different course, and the tragedy occured. There are laws already on the books that could have prevented this, but the left wants ever tougher laws. And so these types of horrible tragedies will continue to happen, until they getr thei way and disarm all of us legal gun owners. And then the tragedies will continue, but they will tell us "subjects" that they are on top of the problem, just like in England!
