I'm 7 months into my 2 year activation. I have 6 months 'till I hit my 20 and I'm re-enlisting. I'm proud to be helping & will be back there (sand box) this winter for another stay.
I am about done with airplanes, and will probably cross train, go to school for Combat Arms Training & Maintenance.
Jerry: Take your tent stakes with you this time. Also, you'll need a ceiling fan, door bell, and vacuum sweeper to get that sand out of your tent.
Seriously, I'm glad there's good people like you "covering our arses", while we're back home sitting in air conditioned homes cleaning our guns getting ready for deer hunting. :nod:

okay, that's fair....
It seems that I am alone in protest. okay, I understand. It's not that I am anti anything, i just don't see the point in wasting money time and lives in thaat filthy sandbox. I say to hell with those rag heads. They don't appreciate what we are doing, even though I have not seen even a small WMD. I don't see as we have accomplished anything except trash the rag head country. Big deal. Saddam is gone. So what? How does it affect my life if he stays or if he goes? Heard all the gummit lies, got anything new to say? All i see looming in the future is a huge tax bill. Plain and simple.
