There is a very large fire just west and northwest of me! The wind is out of the south......right now. Herein lies the problem.....A line of thunderstorms to the north have sent a wind front headed south. So if the wind turns around, the fire is headed my way!

Sorry about those winds bob they came through here this morning and they were moving fast. I do hope they don't get there and still have a fire to push around because that thing will move by the acre.

Keep the hoses ready to douse any embers on or around the house.

This fire is headed towards my brother-in-law and my mother-in-law! My wife is somewhere stuck in the middle of this mess! May be a long day and night for those in Cleveland County!

The Mrs. just got home, thank God. She took some pics of the fire. She said she saw wall-to-wall flames at one point!

It's hot, it's dry, and Oklahoma is catching on fire! I'm waiting for the swarm of locusts!

Another fire has broke out! Miss Wanda and my mother just headed to the store at 120th and Slaughterville Rd. to purchase bottled water and Gatorade for the firefighters. I'm holding down the fort and moving sprinklers deeper into the woods to the west and southwest of our house. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers folks. God we need them here in Oklahoma.

You're in my thoughts and prayers. We had suffered from this exact same thing last summer. I was in the thick of things running comms for ham stuff assisting Sheriff dispatch.

Be careful, be smart and keep a close watch. That fire can change directions in an instant. We're praying for you.
