Army's newest weapon...XM25
I know this is an old story, being dated Nov. 28, 2010, it's a little old anyhow, but does anyone know if the XM25 ever panned out and was it ever sent to and used in Afghanistan like the article says?

Some administration douchebag probably determined the new weapon somehow violated the "Rules of engagament" and gave our troops an unfair advantage.

Low-rate production was expected to begin in 2013...why it was delayed so long is beyond me...
The military loved it, instead of 15-20 minutes firefights, average firefight with an XM-25 utilized was 5-7 minutes...

It is a heck of a weapon...and perfect for urban fighting...
