I became dubious of vaccines after expressing an allergy and then being given a vaccine containing the allergen. Turns out doctors may not know what's in the vaccine they are required to give you or insurance this or treatment that.
I found out that they have been linked to all manner of atrocious conditions, like SIDS, Autism, etc. They may contain mercury, and other toxins, and now I was injected with dead baby and no one told me??
This tears it.
I am rapidly losing faith in medicine in this country.
No big deal to me.
Just more crap to feed the "im not getting a vaccine" bandwagon.
Theres a reason we dont have POLIO, Measles, Rubella, Whooping Cough, Diptheria, Smallpox outbreaks in this country anymore.
The lack of vaccines would only start these outbreaks again.
People now dont have any knowledge of the epidemics that swept this country and other countries. The dead and dying in every town and city in this country. The Mass graves because there were so many dead.
A vaccine is a small price to pay for peace of mind that these epidemics wont happen.
Dang, I lived through darn near all of those! The rubella almost did me in, though. I got it in bootcamp, and thank goodness the OOD came into the barracks and found me in bed before lights out! By the time they got me to the dispensary, my fever was over 107, and the docs gave me something to bring it down and had me transported to the hospital. I think they put me in ice, but don't remember anything about the next two days. To keep me from ever going through that again, I'd take a vaccine with pig poop in it if it kept me safe! I've taken the flu and pneumonia vaccines, and never had any side effects, so I guess they worked!
I will only take vaccines if I am headed somewhere that it's likely I will catch something. I used to get the flu all the time despite the vaccine. I stopped getting them over 15 years ago. The worst ones were often caused by the injection. I have only had the flu twice since, and both cases it was a really bad strain that even people who got the vaccine caught.
Make of that what you will, but aside from MMR shots, polio, smallpox, and other highly infections viruses and bacterium I don't see most vaccines as necessary. You are better served to eat well, and be in generally good shape if you want to ward off the flu, or avoid colds than be injected with a cocktail of genetic modifiers.
The successful vaccines for all of those diseases Capt'n Mil Coll stated
were taken from aborted fetuses from European countries in the 1960s.
For some of the other diseases, namely German measles it took a total of tissue samples from 26 other fetuses to come up with the vaccine.
For those of the pro life mindset, these fetuses were NOT conceived for the purpose of the science breakthroughs that would become of them. As in they were not conceived just to be aborted for science research.
They were conceived under normal circumstances. When the decision for the abortion was made by the parents/mother for whatever their reasons, medical researchers asked for and were given permission from the parents for them to use the tissue samples for the research to try to make the vaccines. Sort of like an organ donation process.
The silver lining is that instead of being aborted and that being the end of it, an innumerable amount of lives have been saved.

Have had the flu once - lived through it, stayed home and doctored myself. Twelve years later, have not had it again.
I prefer to let the body use it's natural healing abilites to build immunity. Help it along with natural remedies to ease the symptoms, and help build that natural immunity. No worries about the lack of testing, and the weird ingrediants in these drugs......
Just my personal choice - YMMV.

My Dad, born in 1919, lost hearing in one ear due to mumps.
Born in 1951, I have pockmarks on my face from measles as a child, had a 107F fever from rubella [NOT GOOD!] when a child, and had chicken pox as a child so am now hoping I don't get shingles [yikes].
And you can not state with 100% certainty that it is due to the applications of vaccines.
It is easy to say that your magic wand can make the seas recede, when the tide is ready to start going out.

Smallpox has disappeared due to vaccines...no other reason.
Polio was almost conquered by vaccines thanks to Rotary International and, I hate to say it, the UN...only radical Islamists in Afghanistan and Nigeria have prevented polio's disappearence. I expect, some day, those pockets will be immunized.
See there is a clear difference, the small pox vaccine was not engineered and the administered on the principle "this should work" it was found as something which naturally cured/prevented smallpox and therefore administered.
Also, the small pox vaccine IS a disease, cow pox, which began killing more people than smallpox, which is why that vaccine was discontinued. I believe in vaccinations that have been proven to work, which do NOT contain mercury, glutemates (many of us have an allergy to them or severe blood-pressure problems), or aborted fetuses, FOR the prevention of epidemics of deadly or life changing viruses, but the nature of the flu vaccine in particular has come to the point that a person who receives the vaccine is more likely to get the flu that someone who does not. It says on the packaging that it has not been sufficiently tested to prove the prevention of the flu, combine that with the fact that it contains mercury (even if it is certified as mercury free) and other toxins. . . and we pay $30 for this stuff injected into our blood. . . I'll stick with Dayquil.
I don't like many many many many things surrounding vaccines these days, but this is way over the line. The bottom line is that we are harvesting babies to create vaccines. Frame it any way you want, but it's one more little bit of power to the abortion industry, which is utterly unacceptable to me.

There are very FEW vaccines worth using. Most cause more issues than they cure. Take for instance, the drastic increase in childhood epilepsy in the last 100 years has been positively linked to early childhood vaccinations. The average person(and doctor) doesn't know about it because studies done by the FDA and big drug companies DISMISS all data on the subject 11 days after the vaccination saying that if something doesn't happen within that period, you can't say it's what caused it to start with. Nevermind that there have been a multitude of long term(years) studies done and in EVERY case children who did NOT have the vaccinations have a several hundred percent lower number of epilepsy cases than the children who were given all the vaccinations.
There are a few that work. However, I do NOT think we should be injecting newborn children with everything under the sun just for the heck of it. I never had a single vaccination(nor did my 9 siblings) before I joined the Marines and I have yet to have the flu. Half my siblings have never had the flu. Those that did got over it in about a week and are none the worse for it. Same goes for all the "major" illnesses. We either didn't get them or got them and got over it quickly.
Big difference is, our family does things the natural way(unless it's something life-threatening) and that boosts our immune system to where it handles 95% of what we come in contact with. The way people treat sickness today weakens your body and makes it DEPENDENT on drugs to do it's job for it. People have been brainwashed into believing that the FDA has the people's best interests in mind and do whatever the doctors tell them to do. Doctors do what the FDA tells them to do. My brother who works in a hospital as a dietitian hates it. He tries to help people do what is right for their body, and they ignore him because they think they can take some drug and it'll go away because that's what they're told by others. Treating symptoms does NOT cure the problem. And that is what is wrong with the health of the average American.

I doubt that number has changed significantly, but we have no way to know, since it is no longer tracked or reported, due to the obvious negative light it casts on the whole "health care" industry.

As with so many things these days, one must do some studying, read the stories from BOTH sides of the issue, and determine for oneself if this product is safe to us or one to avoid. Often, there is a better alternative, less dangerous, with fewer reported problems. So I do that - determine for myself which way to go. And I accept the responsibility for my personal decision. One thing I will NOT tolerate is Big Brother making that decision for me.
