Hope oneastrix doesn't move there or there'd have the number one 1* on the list, too.

I know...bad joke

Actually OX, I lived in New Mexico for a coupleof years in the little town of Hobbs, NM. Liss and I are also from Midland and Seminole, TX respectively. Both are less than an hour from the NM border.

Thumbs up

*1...but you moved "South of the Border."

Hey...last night my wife and I were at a movie and the previews showed portions of an upcoming film called "The Alamo." Guess you're aware of this new movie? It's on my "must see" list.

Wonder how authentic it'll be? Showed the Alamo sitting all alone without the rest of San Antonio surrounding it. Looked similar to what is there today. Plenty of fireworks were involved, too. Should be an excellent film.

Here's a link to their URL which shows the actors and opening date. (Dec, 2003)

Anyone been to Cuba or Taos NM? I loved the outdoors of Cuba, but liked the townlife of Taos. We were camping out along the Rio Grande and only went into Taos for Beer and laundry so I didn't really get to see it all.
