have yall priced any western typ pistol belts and holsters lately? geeze! i been lookin at sites for a few days tryin to find one i like for my ruger n/m blackhawk 41 mag and youd be hard pressed to find a descent rig for less the 300 bucks! sheesh! i bought one in new mexico once for a 45LC i had a while back for 125 bucks and it was a nice one too! alot of tooling!

Whirlwind....that's exactly why I have done little leather work for other people in the last couple of years. People are actually willing to pay $300 for a machine tooled and machine sewn holster and belt than a custom job I'd do fo 'em for half of that.

Have always used Hunter rigs for my Ruger Blackhawks. And they don't cost 300 smackers.

i also have a hunter rig right now. but i love the western ones! id rather learn how to do leather work myself than pay 300 for a dang holster! hmmmm....now theres an idea! dale, know any good sites that teach leather workin'?
