Amazing act of flying! It would have been very sad if one of those old beauties hit an air pocket and decided to take a bath. That would have destroyed a very nice aircraft or two.

Still pretty amazing to look at though!

Some stunts might be better left undone. I'd hate to see one of those old beauties cartwheeling across the water. But then, I'm just a retired old lower middleclass citizen, who thinks too often about the consequences of one's actions, and the costs that follow. I guess I should have used "has-been" in place of citizen! When I was younger, I did some pretty stupid crap on my '38 Knucklehead. Like forty mile an hour wheelies on a busy boulevard, or throwing up sparks from the frame taking a thirty mile an hour curve at sixty. I didn't USED to think much about consequences! I suppose I did finally grow up somewhat! The one good thing is it made me a bit more CAUTIOUS!
