Just ONE reason we love 'em

About a week and a half ago my wife and I took our usual weeklyl trip to Prescott Valley and, of course, to my all time favorite gun store, Prescott Valley Guns.

While we were there my eyes landed on a great looking Springfield Remington 1903A3. It looked even better than the one I already have.

I mean the 'bluing' is better.......the stock is pristene....bore is bright with good ridges on the lands and the grooves are sharp.

Everything matches.

Anyway, I mentioned on how I would really like it and add it to the one I already have but, because of Christmas right around the corner and all sorts of taxes coming due, the idea was out of the question.

I did, however, stand there and look at the rifle for some time.

Well, wouldn't you know it.......she slid by there yesterday and picked the rifle up and gave it to me for an early Christmas gift.

God, I love that woman! For more reasons than just getting me this gun but ....well, heck, it's hard to explain...but she does those things out of her own good heart and not wanting anything in return.

I gotta make sure the next chance I get SHE gets a big bouquet of roses...chocolates.....quiet and romantic dinner and MORE!

I don't think things can get much better.

I'll attach a few (poor) photos to show you why I am in love, LOL

Thumbs up Is that the 2003A3 model?!

That gorgeous rifle looks brand spankin' new! My favorite variant too - the pistol-grip stock and the peep sight.
Yep, the Lady deserves something extra special.

It's a regular 1903A3...I ran the serial number and it's dated 1943.

I believe the other is 1942....can't remember now.
