knights cross in gold...

well at least i thats the discription that best fits this medal that i can find on the web. cant find anything about its value? do yall know what this may be worth? it has "1939" on the back

It's the War Merit Cross, with swords, 2nd class. It was presented to soldiers for meritorius service, not necessarily in direct combat. It ranks below the Iron Cross 2nd class. Reproductions, of which there are plenty sell for about $20.00. Originals, I am unsure. Do a web search for wehrmacht awards. There is a website by that name with information about all WWII German gallantry/combat awards. Sorry I'm at work right now and don't have the address. They have a forum on the site. You can ask them the value and if it's original.

hahahaha i dont think nazi's would like me cause im indian. a friend of mine was moving and found it in a box that was her grandfathers.she said he was in the war and brought it and a small stick pin back with him from europe. i got the stick pin too
