Movie Review..."Cold Mountain", a Civil War drama.

Just got home from seeing the movie, "Cold Mountain." I'll try not to give the plot but this is a movie I've got to recommend. The usual fantasies about how many times a gun will shoot were still being shown, but if you can look past those technical errors(insults) the movie was really entertaining and worth seeing.

Michelle Kidman was reason enough to view the movie if nothing else. WOW! Then there was the kinky sex scene where a confederate runaway soldier knocked on the door where four sex craved women were hiding. After they fed him a first class meal they all head upstairs for a group romp. Saw a few T&A before that scene flashed back to the war which still in action.

One especially interesting scene was when both the Confederate soldiers and Union soldiers were dug in, with the confederates a hill overlooking those northerners. The union soldiers tunneled under the hill, set off an explosion which started the slaughter at daybreak of, surprisingly, the union soldiers. The Confederate commanding soldier hollered in the beginning, "Now the Turkey shoot begins", and he was absolutely correct. The following scene showed union soldiers piled 8-10 feet high in several piles after as the gunfire smoke hung over the battlefield.

Nuff said. Go see it...or at least read another preview of this Civil War drama.

I'm reading the book now. It starts kinda slow. Can't wait for the shooting and the "romps" to begin.

Actually, I thought of that her name hours later after posting "Michelle" Kidman's name. Yep...Nicole is right. Give yourself a big___________ as a prize (you fill in the blanks.)
