You should ask him directly, since it involves you personally. The ATF could scrutinize you because of his mistakes. I would definitely try to get the ful story.

Its hard telling. I know some shops have gone through great lengths to meet BATF rules as interpretted by the latest "GO-CHA" fad. County spelled out in full? All answers spelled out Y-E-S or N-O instead of Y or N? Address is a numbered street, not Route 2, Box 10? Way to many little things that can get you in trouble.

Call him and get details - you don't need a visit from the SS

I don't know if I'd put it past the BATF to do that for kicks or to make it look like they're doing something useful. I agree, get the full story, but there should be no legal compulsion. I see no grounds for the BATF to require this, much less for them to use him to request that you do it. I would be very suspicious and assertive of my rights.

if the GunShop has a problem, i don't see what the customer has to do with it. i would seek some legal counsel before filling in/signing anything. |

Jerry...couldn't help noticing the words "pro-gun and lawyers" used together. Could that be an oxymoron term? Are there any lawyers who are pro-gun? Here's a few oxymorons starting with the letter "L." lady-mud wrestler laid-back compulsive land developer land development larger half lasting aid law brief lead balloon lean pork least favorite legal brief legal ethics legal justice legally drunk legitimate conspiracy legitimate politics lesser evil less is more liberal conservative liberal fundamentalists light armor light-heavyweight limited immunity limited incursion linear curve liquid crystal liquid gas liquid metal liquid paper liquid smoke literal interpretation literary illiterates little big little big horn little bit big little deceptive little giant live recording live television living dead living death -John Milton living end living fossil local long distance local network locks on 7-11 stores which are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year long recess long sleeve t-shirt loose tights loud whisper loquacious librarian loss prevention specialist love-hate relationship low-intensity conflict low-fat icecream lower inflation low insurance rates loyal opposition luke-warm enthusiasm luxury beer luxury bus
