Big Al has his uses.
A) He brings some humor to an otherwise terminally boring Democratic Nomination Race.
B) He helps bring devisiveness to the Democratic Nomination Race.

He points out the foibles - both true and imaginary - of his running mates. He'll draw some votes from the others, weakening them still further.

Go, Big Al!!
