This is my newest buffer added to the line... the AR-15/M-16 Buffer tip.
This has been field tested in Afghanistan by members of the US Army and Special forces, here's what MSG Rhodes had to say after the test.
"Randy,
I received your AR-15 buffers in the mail yesterday. I will give them the first round test within two days. I have two M16A2's that I will use. I will install one black and one green. We have a large ammo can loaded up with mags right now and as many cans full of ammo as we can stand to load to take with us. Most of the shooting will be done on 3 round burst. I will give you an exact round count when we finish and if there is any wear on the buffers I will take a digital picture and send it to you.

Shot 1260 rounds, all on burst, two different rifles, 21 mags per rifle. We got tired and the rifles had to stop for cool down several times. Your black and green buffers have little if ANY indication of use at all.
I will probably shoot another 800 to 1000 rounds tomorrow. That is about all I can do at a time because with only two weapons (we may have three tomorrow) you can just change out the buffer and let one weapon cool off. I have plenty of ammo, we typically go out with four people (the minimum for leaving the compound) everyone isn't armed with a 16', so the number available varies.
If you have them in production now, I want to order two (I also need to order AK/Galil and SKS buffers) and have them sent to my home.
Let me know about it when you get them in production, I will drop my order. I will keep you posted.
Update:
I am up to 15 Basic Loads which is 3150 rounds and the green buffer that I have still looks new. The real problem I have is letting the M16 cool off so that I can run more rounds through it, the BJB doesn't give any argument.
I tried to understand exactly what makes your buffer superior to the stock one and this is what I came up with:
The OEM AR buffer is flat on the contact end that impacts in the recoil cycle and stops the AR buffer assembly abruptly. Blackjack takes a different approach and starts out with a softer buffer material, he also designed a superior impact/contact area. This revolutionary round design slows the velocity of the buffer assembly gradually. This translates to a noticeable reduction of impact of the entire buffer assembly, helping the shooter to return on target more quickly and while using burst or full auto, the Blackjack assembly makes the weapon more controllable.
On a scale of one to ten, I would characterize the felt difference of the green Blackjack buffer to the OEM buffer between three to five."
