That sucker is a tack driver.
I'd like to build my own and I know I can, it's always been the headspace thing that has held me back. Is it cheaper to build my own? (gotta save some cash for beer )

A friend brought over a box of parts and there was enough to, not build but put together 2. Never working on one I went to the books, piece of cake. They were fun to fire but not my cup of tea.

When the assault ban first came out and the price of AR's skyrocketed, it was cheaper to build your own. Now you can buy one already assembled for as cheap as you can purchase a parts kit and a lower receiver to build your own. Then again, I always liked building my own because I felt confident knowing that it was right.

Definetely would like to but never tried it.

In the future will start with the DPMS SS lower and probably an assembled upper for starters.

I'd sure like to get ahold of the DPMS SS lower. I missed the boat on those. FAC had great prices on them.

Mine was built with a Sherluk assembled kit with a slickside upper and an Eagle Lower.
