I new here, and just checking in with all the veterans;
as I'm an ole U.S. Army (91A10) medic myself. I was
with the old 18th Surgical Hospital out of Ft. Gordon,
Georgia from 1966-1967. Later my unit saw action in
the southeast Asia town of Pleiku, RSVN.
In later life, I'm a 20+ year veteran of law enforcement
with a major city police department here in central AL.
I left the department in May of '97, and since I've been
in the security industry. Currently, I'm unemployed and
seeking compensation from the government due to a
disability suffered in a near fatal MVA that occurred on
16 March 1998.
Anyway, its good to be here and participate in this great
forum. A lot of you will know me as "Ala Dan", formerly of
TFL; and currently a member in good standing at THR and
several other forums.
