Did not think I would have to explain things to people...but after last night working the holaday inn....seems like you all from out of state are confused

All tourest:
Tipping....I know people from out of state dont understand this concept...when in doubt..tip and tip well....we like to think 15-18% is nice.... along thouse lines...tipping the security guard that wheels your drunk butt back to your room on a luggage cart is good to do....cash is preffered...Beer is not

Your not at home.....you may be the grand poopa who owns every cop and polatician in the country....and may know GW Bush personaly.....but to the security guard (and cops if you dont shut up)....you are the drunk pukeing in the hot tub

bugs...yes Florida has bugs...the state is a filled in swamp....what do you expect....we do not realy need to be told over and over that we have a large number of large bugs

Prices....yes $20 for a T-Shirt and $5 for a beer is expensive...but YOUR A tourist....drinking and shopping in a tourist area...want cheap go to wal-mart.

Anamiles...Yes we have Sharks, alagators and racoons....Racoons in the trash is required by law...Sharks and alagators do not work for the tourist board...if you play with them they will bite you....dont blame them...your the goofball that walked up to them

Kids....why would you let your kids run wild all night in a strange town...strange hotel ... filed with people you dont know? Hotel staff is not baby sitters....you brought them with you..you watch them.

Drinking....IF you plan to go out and try to drink all the booze we have in Florida...enjoy...but please put your room number on your forehead....it will help us get you tucked in when you return from the bars.

For SPRING BREAKERS.. BLACK COLLEDGE REUNION PEOPLE:
1. Your mom/dad may be a VIP were you live...YOU ARE NOT....to the the Hotel staff and police you are a drunkien goofball....shut up and go to your room.

20 underage kids in a room...drinking cheap beer...and trashing the place is NOT paying our salary....We dont even like you in the hotel....so shut up..keep the noise down...or meet our local police officers.

getting drunk..blasting your stero while you drive may be ok were you come from...but this is not your home....here you get to ride in back of one of our patrol cars....the POLICE are NOT picking on you....your the one that attracked attention to yourself....get over it.

Finaly for thouse planning to attend GAY PRIDE WEEK.

We realize that for 51 weeks a year you have to hide your true identy....and that for 1 week a year you can dress like "Tinkerbell" complete with wings and a wand.....and get rip roareing drunk.....no problem spend $$$.....but like the other 50 guys dressed like tinkerbell....it IS NOT funny to smack Hotel staff and security guards on the forehead and say "I'm a fairy".... the joke was not funny when the last 49 tinkerbells got off the drunk bus and did it...why would it be funny the 50th time?????.. OH smacking a cop on the forehead with your wand and telling him your a fairy....will get your butt wooped.

For you church types attending gay pride week....2 guys shareing a room togher..eating togher and then spendign an hour telling the staff that your not gay your hear to protest ...dose not matter...your here on gay pride week...we consider you to be gay.

If you do not want to see gay people in large groups..kissing..hugging...and acting "gay" dont go to Disney world on gay pride day wearign your Im stright t-shirt and video tapeing it for your church back home....then complain about all the gay people you seen all day to the hotel staff......we think your gay cause your here....so shut up and pay the $5 for the beer....and you and your male roommate go back up stairs and complain to each other

The people you refer to are probably Canadians. We have them here, where I live. They are only here a couple months out of the year but, they run things, or so they think. They think we, native Floridians and, all other none Canadians, are second class folk and should be seen rarely and never heard from. We are simply here to serve thier needs and get lost after that. The waitress at the place I go for breakfast sometimes tells me horror stories how those cheap scumbags leave tips like 28 cents or 13 cents! If you ask me, yes, i know you did'nt, things were a lot nicer when they were in Canada! Thing would be much cheaper around here if we didn't pander to a group who spits on us! Just my 2 cents worth. Doglips, i feel your pain.

funny guys, we have the same problems here with OHIO folks (no not Joe)
they flood in here every spring and think they run the county because they have a place at CHATAQUA INSTATUTION wheeeeeeee, so what so you paid one million dollars for an apt smaller than the one i pay 200 a mounth for and is more run down but has new paint and a 50,000 bathroom. they take over the resterounts the golf corses and try to run the docks (the red neck fisherman have been know to adjust an attitude now and again) funny how fast a 250,000 dollar cabin cruser sinks with a 12ga hole in its stern. and looks real funny sticking out of the 8 foot deep water.
we haven't had the gay pride thing, here they know it would not be tolerated, they would end up in the morge or hospital. but we have to put up with lots of democrats(just as darn bad) hillery seems to like this area and visits here allot to speak and just create trafic problems. ayh tourists are a pain in the arrrrrrrssss but alot of small buisness around here depend on them, heck they aren't even open in the winter.

around here we call it the "quater back" club....they give the bartender and waitress a quater back.... Doctors are the worse... The Bikers (bike week this week) and gay pride types tip good...BCR (Black colledge reunion) and Spring breakers trash the place then scream discrimanation when you charge them for the damage.

Yup,here in Tampa we have had the "pleasure" of hosting those trash(ers) you spoke of and that is exactly how they behave,oh well,a jerk is a jerk is a jerk.
