Question Financeing a Big Mac???

OK Im a little bit on the slow side...but stoped of at Burger King for breakfast this morning....big signs.. "All major credit cards accepted"....pic of Master card, Visa, American express. Hummmm So made it a point to look over at the Mcdonalds on the way home....big old America Express sign haning under their sign....

Now Im not the best person to give finincal advise....in fact I make Enron accountants look good.....but seems too me..IF YOU HAVE TO USE a credit card to pay for a big mack or wooper...aka financeing a burger at 19% interst then one of two things are wrong.

1 you got some major $$ problems and might want to call an attorny and discuss bankrupcy options.

2. Fast food places got some big time prices.

Now the prices I seen...the wooper/big mac is under $2 ....so I do not undersand the need to finance a $2 burger...add fries and a coke still under $5 bucks......can someone explain this too me ????

They are looking for the easy buck and many people are still of the opinion that credit is good -- what happened to common sense? I realized my mistakes years ago and last year I cut them all up when they hit ) balance. if you need help contact www.daveramsey.com listen live from 1-4pm at www.997wtn.com

Actually

I see it as it's about freakin time! I use my debit card all the time, and if I am in a hurry or don't have cash on me, restaurants that have the ability to pay with plastic are my choice. Those that don't have the ability to take plastic loose out big time!

I have a second Debit/Check card for my business and when I travel there is only a few dollars in my pocket, and a set amount in that account too.

No interest fees, no piles of cash that I may have to risk loosing if I am jacked, and I won't have to shoot someone for trying to walk off with all my money.

When criminals are empty handed there is less chance your change will deflect a bullet.......

I use my card all the time. Debit mostly...but I have been known to use the el credit card at Quiznos or Wendy's...its smart...I do not like to have to carry cash all the time. To easy to lose and no way to identify it.

I use the credit card because the merchant cannot charge you a fee for using it, like they can for the debit cards.

Plus you don't end the day with a pocket full of change.
