my gun range

this is a picture of what my shooting range looks like. not to bad it has a nice leather look and feel to it well it should because it is real leather with adjustable head rest for the bad day's . not to mention the head rest doubles as a rifle rest. anyway hope you like it.

Talking

7Mmag6 that's what I was thinking, too.
Tommy, that's a luxury set-up for sure. Fresh live targets swim down the swamp continually and you hope they don't crawl up the river bank and grab your leg when you miss. Those gators must hate it when you go target shooting.:jaw:

Question

How old do you suppose those footholds are, 7mmag6? Did you ever try climbing there?

Tommy...I knew better about shooting those gators. You're a law abiding man and we've talked about that before. Bet you've got some great nature pic's from around your neck of the swamps.

Ox anazasi archeology is every where around here. i did try the foot steps , ummm ok for a guy about 5 foot, they are close, i think they are about 1000 years old, after chaco, and the migration of the 9 northern peublos, its a common sight here

actually if you are interested , the zunis cliam ancestory from the anazasi, however digs at bandolier, and san idelofonso say other wise, its intersesting that the common tongue varies, some local tribes talk keres, others tewa or towa and divided by just a few miles, for instance the taos pueblo talks towa, just a few miles down the road the language is tewa, another few miles is keres, like san juan or sandia, something for you to look up ox, its a mystery, I hope that keeps you busy bro

by the way the navajo are late entries, and not endiginous, the mystery of the anazasi is very real, and endures, it looks like a great mystery for our resident scholar, have fun bro

Cool Tommy, I used to pull one of the seats out of my company mini van to use as a rifle rest

Shaun, sorry to hear about your range. Didn't you have some of your own ground to shoot on?

Cool history lesson 7mm :right:

Yah Jerry I have 11 acres I could shoot on but Turkey season started here in 2 weeks and lasts a month. If I start using the area as a target range I take away from the work I have done on the feedplot because the animals would vacate. Right now my traffic through the plot is at a high point for both the deer and the turkey and I just want to have a minimal impact on my hunting as well that's why I like the alternate facility.

you may want to upgrade your range, perhaps a Lazy-Boy adjustible shooting position recliner
