has anyone had experience wi th the b-square scope mount for this rifle. i have the .308 conversion. last week, i shot consistent 3" groups with the clunky fixed peep sight at 100 yds. i'd like to scope it and see what i get.

I don't have that mount personally, but my best friend does, and it works just fine. His groups are in the 1"-1 1/2" range at 100 yards. He's using a Simmons 6-12x50 scope on it, and he has gotten two 3" groups at 200 yards with it. His is the original 7.5 French, so yours could be better or worse. My MAS 36 is in the original 7.5, also, and I get about 2" consistently at 100 yards. If you do get the mount, let me know how it works for you.
