Thumbs up Not that you're one, but it's worth thinking about

Yes, it's worth thinking about. Where did we lose these things?

Well well!

Awesome!!

and

for the record, from memory, from a 39 year old...

Oh, say can you see..
by the dawns early light..
what so proudly we hailed..
at the twighlights last gleaming..
who's broad stripes and bright stars...
Through the perilous fight..
O'er the ramparts we watched...
Were so gallantly streaming...
and the rockets red glare...
the bombs bursting in air...
gave proof through the night...
that our flag was still there...
Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave...
O'er the land of the Free...
and the home of the brave....

Sniper...bet you're in the minority in being able to recite the entire first verse of the Star Spangled Banner, regardless of age. Congratulations!

I'm used to singing along with others and would probably miss a word or two here and there, so I continue moving my lips till I pick it up again. You wouldn't want to hear me sing, anyway. I'd like to hear oneastrix do that song.

Joe...at a public event where the Star Spangled Banner is sung, just watch how many people appear to be moving their lips only during the national anthem. I would bet that less than half know all the words.

It would be an interesting survey...why don't you set up a survey on G&G with this question?

Yes, and even fewer even realize there is a second verse
Good show.
