Kahr pistols

Anyone own one or have an opinion about them. My son-in-law who is a detective was thinking about buying one for his backup conceal gun, I think either the K-9 or the MK-40

Thumbs up

I recently had the chance to shoot a friend's Kahr compact 9mm.
While the trigger was rather long and heavy (you won't "accidentally" shoot this one!), it was managable, and accuracy was quite good for a small pistol. No malfunctions at all, it fed and fired every time.
I'd have no problem carrying one.

I've had the K9 for several years, bought right after they came out & it's been a good reliable pistol with no malfunctions. It does have the long double action trigger pull, but mine is smooth & not too heavy for dao, about 7-8lbs.
