| "A sandwich of mayo, peanut butter and sliced bananas" I remember those! Haven't had one since I was a kid. We also would make sandwiches of pineapple rings on mayo. Good stuff! I still occasionally whip up a bowl of creamy peanutbutter with lots of pancake syrup mixed in. Great snack. I also like eating Ravioli, Spaghetti&meatballs, etc right out of the can cold.

| An anchovy, banana, and pepper pizza? Leave the bananas off and it sounds pretty good. My worst example of weird food are Rocky Mountain oysters and raw clams and raw oysters.

| Right, Rufus - squirrels are good eating no matter how they are cooked. I usually either "chicken-fry" them or cook 'em in gravy.

| Those Mtn oysters are about the wierdest. I lived in Oklahoma for a while and they'd have big "calf fries" of bull nuts. I think the way to cook them was to boil the piss out of 'em. |

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Did you ever eat catfish stink bait? Now that's really weird. Well...neither have I nor will that ever happen. Or...what about catfood out of the box? Neither have I but some people do. Now I have eaten persimmons right off the tree. Made my mouth pucker up like a bull sniffing the wrong thing.

| Years ago, at Fort Gordon, Georgia, our MP graduation ritual was eating a box of Milk Bone bisquits with a pitcher of beer. Actually, it wasn't bad at all. And I STILL think Joe (from that crossed eyed photo he posted) looks like the kind that would have bananas on his pizza. Hey...HE posted that pic....not any of us, lol.

| Uh oh. Guess I eat strange stuff then. I've had Milk Bone and sampled other dog food. Never cat food though. That stuff just looks nasty. I like rattlesnake meat, chicken gizzards and I just bbq'd a beef heart last week. Rocky mountain oysters arent too bad. Sorta flavorless though. I have a couple of desert tortoises and I figure if they can eat certain things then so can I. I sample all their food. It must look pretty goofy when I'm eating a nasturtium leaf or a handfull of green bean leaves. If anyone in the Phoenix area wants a great meal, go to Rawhide for the "Daring Duo" meal. Its snake meat and bulls balls. Good stuff but people tend to move away from you.... Anchovies are fish bait and dont belong on a pizza! |
