Parenting is failing and schools are getting desperate to fill in the gaps. It sure doesn't seem right for schools to teach kids this stuff, but if parents were doing their job, the schools wouldn't have to...

Teaching kids abstinance is a joke so the schools have to do something... I just don't know what that something should be...

Wellllll....when I was in the 1st grade I can remember talking to older guys about sex. They couldn't believe what I knew about doing it... even at that young age. I have a brother two years older who had similar interests. We discussed anything and everything on that subject.

Then puberty set in at about 12 yrs of age, and my glandular changes kicked into high gear. Mostly high school for me was about chasing girls and playing sports. Of course, most of what I did was just chasing.

Then in college...I found out about college girls. WOW! That kept me from studying many times when my priorities should have been reversed.

And eventually, during my senior year, I met my future wife...and we've been married now for 43 years. :nod:

As a sign of the times, I dated whern I was 13. Liked girls and thought of sex at 11, when puperty hit full force. I knew full well what it was when I was 8, but wondered why anyone would want to do it.

15 and 20 were major hormone peaks. Glad I was a dork who couldn't get any cause I wouldn't have been able to hold back.

When I heard of oral stuff at 11, it was always the subject of jokes and I didn't know how common a practice it was until the Lewinsky scandal.

What's scary is that way back in high school, a peer told of her junior high brother getting a BJ.

well i started dateing around 16, i knew all about it before then or so i thought.
but when the first real girlfiend came into the picture it was all i could do to remember where i was more or less what whent where.
at age 17 and one day before i left for boot camp was the first and i've been trying to make up for lost time ever since, BRG3 it doesn't stop at 20. i'm 36 and still thinking about it as much as i was when i was 20, just not as much energy for the chasin anymore, picking slower targets these days, don't cha know.

You single people are going to get a rude awakening when/if you get married. The frequency of married couples having sex is much less than once a day, as an average. I've read reports that the truth is closer to once per week...or every other week...that is after the honeymoon's over.
And...it doesn't stop at any magical age, if you know what I mean.

The difference is that the chase is much simplier.

Ox -- I agree when I was married for those brief 5 years I learned sex was the morning after the wedding then I couldn't even hint at the idea of it for the whole marriage. Inexperienced singles be warned sex within marriage is a fantasy

I don't think ones sexual status as a virgin or non virgin has anything to do with it. Its the same person everyday for the rest of your life thing that does it. Lets face biologically our instinct is to sleep around and spread our geneitcs. Now were not animals so we control our impulses (well at least were supposed to) Still that takes a toll on a sex drive. As for the oral sex Red don't knock it till yah tried it (whenever that may be) Just remember if you give you should recieve.

I guess maybe this is the point at which I should clarify my personal hatred of oral sex. An incident occured once that if you knew the details, you'd understand why I react as I do.
