Went primarily to see daughter march on the field with about a 1000 4-H kids from Mo. & Il. The ball game was for dad. We stayed in the Marriot the night before, hence the view of the Old Courthouse from the 20th floor of the East Tower.

The saying is don't let the sunset on you if you are in E. ST. Louis and you are white. That true Polarisgod?

Actually,my dad, being an assistant pastor at a neighborhood church(and well liked),we were OK. :right: Heck,we were just as poor as the rest of the neighborhood! But I'm not sure I'd go back for a very long visit though!!

I used to get a kick out of the black guys in my platoon who talked about being from rough neighborhoods (alot were full of puu),when they found out where I was born....most would clam up!!

But I still regard St.Louis as a beautiful city, and one of my favs!
