Force Protection Officer Position Requirements
High School Graduate or GED Equivalency
Be a United States Citizen and at Least 21-Years Old; females must be 26-Years old (Kuwait labor law, not CSA policy - CSA must abide by host country laws)
At least two years prior military service - honorable discharge
Provide proof of honorable military service by submitting "Member 4 Copy" of DD Form 214. There must be no history of Court Martial or other unfavorable release conditions.
Be able to pass a Physical Agility Test and be physically proportionate per height and weight as indicated on the Height/Weight table attached.

Force Protection Officer Take Home Pay Estimate
Force Protection Officers are guaranteed a 48 hour workweek. However, Force Protection Officers have historically worked a 60 hour workweek made up of 5 - 12 hr. shifts. Although not guaranteed, it is likely that a 60 hour work week will continue based on current CSA mission requirements. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours are paid at 1 ¼ (time and one quarter) or 1 ½ (time and one half), depending on the day worked. You will also receive Foreign Area Living Allowance (FALA) in the amount of $34.10 per day. Base pay and FALA are both paid bi-weekly.
The following salary estimate will give you an idea of potential take home pay based on a 60 hour workweek. Force Protection Officer Rate of Pay - $13.10 an hour
Salary: $13.10 x 96 hours, 26 pay periods: $32,697.60
$13.10 x 1 ¼, x 29 OT hours, per 26 pay periods $12,346.75
Total for year: $45,044.35
FALA: $34.10 per day x 365 days $12,446.50
End of Contract Bonus: (Approximate) $2,100.00
Grand Total for Year (Approximate): $59,590.85
