That means that the 2 ingredients needed to make Sarin are kept in seperate compartments. Once the round is fired out of a cannon the spinning of the round causes the chemicals to mix and viola when it bursts above the target you have a sarin gas cloud. The IED explosion didn't allow much of it to mix, however 2 US soilders were treated for minor exposure. The fact that it was used this way indicated that whoever rigged the IED did not know what he had. Also there was supposedly another round full of mustard gas last week but I haven't heard much on that lately. Maybey you guys got the 2 mixed up because this has been confirmed by the survey group.

I get my information all over the internet. Where the hell do you get your information?

Read the articles. Rumsfeld cautioned people not to take this as hard proof because the field tests are not reliable. More testing needs to be done.

It is a grave and wretched thing we speak of.
I know that there are many that feel as we do about this
Yet I have .........I am ........hesitant to seriously concider such a action in the real world.
our country would tear it self apart if we took action in the way we propose.
the cold hard fact is that we wont do it
Iraq is going to be a bleeding morass of villany and reliegious intolerence
I dont think there is much we can do to stop that now.
if the libs had shut the hell up and stopped the incessant complaining.
the (good)Iraqs would have had a chance.

Yes! Again I must agree. Too many momma's boys now. But, the truth remains and all we can expect, in the future, is more troops dead and the never ending continueation of this war. Another VN! Probably will take another prez to end it, just like before, in the last VN!

Dear Lord the casualty levels are no where near Veitnam levels. In fact they have dropped significantly over the last couple of weeks. That move of putting a Iraqi General in charge of Fallajuah apears to have been brillant. I personally doubted it but the guy is playing ball and the place appears pacified. Al Sadr's Militia is falling apart and the shite moderates are rising up against him. This is not veitnam. This war has a end in sight. Iraqi forces are takeing bigger and bigger roles in self policeing and border protections. Just because a war isn't over in 30 days doesn't mean its veitnam.

Today it was confirmed that the shells did contain sarin gas. The news also said that they shells appeared to be of manufacture prior to 1991. The newscaster then went on to state that more WMD could still be found. I thought that the last statement was a hedge after a year of yelling “Where are the WMD?” now they are starting to suggest that more are going to turn up.
I believe that there have been and still are WMD, my biggest fear is where are they going to show up next NYC? LA? Denver?

Yeah, I saw the news last night. I wonder how they sneaked it into the area so we could "find" it!
