I figured as much, Joe.... Flatfoot, gumshoe, slick sleeve.....the list is endless. I hear Rufus even has a few picturesque nick names for us as well.

Slick sleeve, surely youv'e been around longer than that!

Yeah, the boards aren't what they used to be. Growing pains hurt but are a fact of life. I'm stickin with it for the long haul.

If any one wants to take the heat off someone else, go on ahead and poke fun at me

Still a slick sleeve......five years in the business....although I have specialized and gotten off of the routine patrol crap. 3 years on grave yard....now working 8-4 M-F........If I wanted to be a Detective or SGT I would have to give that up. Nope....the weekends are too valuable to me at about five hundred a gig for my band.

Yeah.....I'll ride it till the wheels fall off.

Most of us in the juvenile crime burea have good hours...centered around school hours. At night the gang unit basically takes over since a sickening number of our kids are gang bangers.

1* your lucky -- just keep yourself on this track -- of course the yard has its perks too less press and no admin in the office.
