Private Contractors in Iraq radio program

I was listening to NPR and really enjoyed this program coming out of Chicago.

The program was on civilian contractors working in Bhagdad. I was very impressed with the reporting and enjoyed learing more about them.

I enjoy This American Life. It's always interesting stuff if nothing else.

DynCorp is "dirty" multi armed monster, even connections with communist China.

That's interesting and not surprising. American business goes wherever it wants to. I love it.

DynCorp took down our tents when we left our base in the desert.

I've checked out NPR but found them too liberal and annoying to listen to very long. However, to be fair, it was the news that annoyed me and I was unaware there was much else on the NPR format. I'll give it a try, the program you suggest, just to be qualifyed to comment on it. I'm interested in learning new things that affect the quality of my world.

Since I live in the land of NPR, it's hard to avoid. You are correct in their leanings. I tune out for the same reasons. Still, they have some fun stuff on the weekends here wbur.org
This American Life is one of the best radio programs I've ever heard. They always try to have a balance of view and the subjects are very interesting.
They once had a show on gun control which gave even time to both sides of the issue.
I enjoy it and am a critical listener. What strikes me is how unpolitical it strives to be.
