oh yeah!!! can i ever. a few cards, and another stupid shirt

thats it, no toys, no cash to buy toys. been going on for 25 years, at "ALL" gift giving times. not so much as a bottle of Hoppes!!!

its like they must all be in a bubble or something, they all know what i really like, and have yet to find a package that has the smell of gun oil to it.

the closest i came was last summer, the wife found a revolver at a yardsale and cell phoned me if i wanted it. i ask her to tell me something about it, she don't know but the handle has my initials on it "RG", i told her forget about it.

i feel like a grown up Ralphie, still looking for that long package, except he got his, and i still wonder when.

Get in line Papa. Though I don't have kids and would never want them. I run into the same problem when birthdays and Christmas come around.

Considering I have a shop and tools all related to the gun industry you'd think "they" would get the message. My father hasn't even caught on to the idea either.

I think deep down people buy gifts for others not realizing that they are buying gifts that they would like to receive.

Whatever my kids or wife want to get me is just fine...or nothing at all. I've got too many "things" anyway. Just another drawer to fill up if it isn't useful for my hobbies or activities.

I did get a very useful looking fishing tackle box today as a gift, which I appreciated. The size of it is approx. 12x14x 12 and it has more drawers and shelves than I can fill up now with my existing fishing lures, hooks, etc. I'll have lots of fun shifting my old fishing stuff into those drawers and organizing them. Wonder if I'll catch more fish, too?

Papa G...I squeaked by that at the last moment by going to a dinner theater last night with her, and my grown kids. I'm happy to report that I ended up with no bruises or battle scars to report over that screw-up.
