Screw it...I'm over it.......

I'm back......thanx for the e-mails. I read most of them twice or thrice. Most of you guys are household names around my little hacienda and I honestly feel like I know you. I have decided not to let a few members run me off. I'll just avoid cop threads.....and I hereby propose that for every crooked cop thread posted I will post a good cop thread....

Good to see ya'll again.

Just tired of the paranoid BS I'm reading all the time......Just a stubborn redneck underneath it all. There's been a fairly recent change in the boards and I'm still not sure that I like it......but I'm back just the same.

Agreed.
I sometimes wonder if I'm using my time wisely. When I get frustrated here I really think about it.

99% of the folks are great and all. I'm so overexposed to people on the job, it seems like I use this as a reality deversion. There are alot of people I'd like to meet, but know it's not really possible. So, I keep signing on. the cool thing is people actually talk about Guns, game, outdoors, etc. at times. That's cool :right:

BTW, I'm not drinking Just can't sleep.

Is it wrong for me to enjoy "Reno 911" as much as I do.

Kaneko, I tried to give that show a chance because a bunch of my buddies watch it religiously. A few of the things that I saw were simply hillarious. But so many of them were so outrageous that I lost interest. Still, my buddies rant and rave about how funny the show is. Maybe I'll have to give it another shot.

The sponsors of the tour dropped all but two bands from the list. We were not in the top two. Seems that they didn't have quite the capital they thought that had. In the end, as far as we can see, we would have played in about seven states, missed two weeks of work, been strung out on the road, and not even broken even financially. So the news didn't break my heart too much other that I wanted to see some places that I had never been.

oneastrix - Welcome back!

I have had a few occasions to write about events that have happened to me or friends, in the manner which you have said was not palatable to you, and will do my best to not make comments to the thread or originate anything like that here-to-fore. I know it can be irritating, and worse, because I have read some threads that caused me to leave for a while, too.

AGAIN, WELCOME BACK!!!

Seriously....nobody needs to agree with anything, let alone everything, I say or think. That's not a problem in the least bit. I won't agree with about half the stuff I read here at least I figure.

Glad to be back....glad for the warmth shown by all my buddies here.....let's get to gettin'.......

Also, don't think you can't post a crooked cop thread either. I never wanted to give that impression at all. I'll just avoid them. Just remember, for every cop that get's busted, there are thousands upon thousands who will go to work that day and save lives. Just like civilliams....for every civy that who comits a crime there are billions who are law abiding folks.

Matt:

I can relate to what you wrote. Had the same thoughts at times myself as I've indicated to you in some PM's. But after being off for a short time I couldn't resist rejoining the group. I've noticed that when someone's down that there's plenty of support by the good guys on G&G to help encourage them back. Otherwise,I wouldn't have hung around for 6K posts or so. You're one of the anchors on G&G so we expect you to be here when we visit. It's not the same with you missing. Welcome back! :right:
