He wouldn't need to edit your comments at all (in some cases) to make you look crazy. Your folks are playing the victim. This guy made a movie and what he says in it scares you. Go see the movie before you sound off about all the liberal media and truck bombs. Contempt prior to investigation runs rampant through this thread. Rufus, just so you know, the when you call the American public stupid, you're pissing in your own pool. Last edited by Mr. Kaneko; 06-26-2004 at 09:25 AM. |

I'll not spend my hard earned money on his dribble. And, yes, the public is stupid. Though there are exceptions to the rule, most people are too lazy to form thier own opinion and rely on wind bags like this moron to help them decide. One need only do what is right and the myth is gone. If people are too lazy to think about thier gumint, then yes, they are stupid!

There is no need to spend money on a movie from a individual who is a well known and documented serial liar. There has never been an ounce of truth behind any of his "projects". Its not what he says that scares me I have allways been able to reduce his week lie filled arguments to piles of ruble in short order. Its the damage to the country he stands to inflict with yet more fiction pawned off as truth. The true belivers of his socialist agenda will snatch this film up and use it to convert young or uninformed minds. When someone slanders a country and or president at this level and claims its the truth when its not there needs to be real serious physical repercusions for such a tratorious act.

Michael Moore is a waste of space, as far as I'm concerned. His take on Columbine was appalling, as many of the officers who were there couldn't bear the fact they had to stand by and watch/hear the massacre inside the school. Some officers killed themselves afterwards. Where's Mr. Moore's take on THAT fact?? Furthermore, any idiot who states that "if there had been more black men on the planes on 9/11, things would have been different. White men are pu**ies". That statement alone warrants a death certificate for Moore. Furhtermore, he's just trying to make a name for himself in any shameless way he can. I rank him up there with O.J. Simpson as far as credibility goes. JMHO.... |

SRX is right. No one here has questioned your credibility as of yet. Thus it seems there is no reason fur your assults, Mr. Kaneko. When I signed up for this forum, I came with the expectation that I could voice my opinion openly without it being subjicated and thrown back in my face. Everybody here has a voice, and no one should have to take hits on what they say. If you have an opinion, please by all meens share it, but it's only common curtisy not to bash others opinions. Thank you.

I disagree with you painting me as a rabble rouser. When I read ignorance and point it out, that is not to be taken as being pompous. If the shoe fits, wear it. In that spirit, why don't you respect Michael Moore's opinion and stop calling for his death. You don't have to agree with him or support his movies. If you think I'm arrogant, I don't care. |

first off if he had an opinion i would welcome it, he only has lies and half truths. nothing of any content or opinion of anything i could see. secondly, you do make every effort to insult ppl at every turn in a sorry attempt to make your own intelect seem that much more than ours. thirdly and finaly, you are either one of the most arrogent, or the most tactless indivigual i have come across here on G&G. none of us claim to be english majors, reporters or publishers. we do however have opinions and postions that we feel like shareing with out haveing to deal with the likes of you playing the pomous spell checker and self apointed IQ expert. if you have a point make it please make it. if you just feel like makeing ppl look small in some way for what they think, do us all a favor and keep your pie hole shut. and it would seem by your post that both shoes seem to fit you very well.

If I make you feel small, that's not my problem. If I read you correctly, you want a place to express your opinon unchecked. That runs contrary to the definition of a forum. I disagree with a lot of what is said here and I have suffered the same level of insults and attacks. You don't see me crying uncle over it. I can take it in and I can dish it out. For what its worth, I think Michael Moore is not as harmful as you think. He's no better or worse than the Limbaughs, Savages, and Liddys of the world. I don't spend a whole lot of time thinking about him. |

nor do i, and i don't attck anyone or call them gulable or crazy. no one here wants to go unchecked, but we don't want to hear we are ignorent or crazy either. like i said before if you have a point make it. if you just want to attch ppl go away. we like difering thoughts it opens our otherwise closed minds a lil at a time. when it is attched to "your crazy" or "you guys are ignorant" you loose all your points down the drain because all we hear are the attchs. as for makeing me feel small? i have had much better men than you try, and fail. the only part of you that bothers me is how you can't seem to make your points with out makeing anothers look stupid. you have had severle eye opening views that have brought meny of us to second think our stand on something. stop blowing it.

All right guys, that's enough. Here's the deal. We all have opinions, and they're all different. We should be allowed to express our opinions, whether liberal, conservative, or something else. We should feel free to debate with someone on his or her views, but we shouldn't attack the person himself or herself. That's not accomplishing anything but division. ON THAT NOTE, let's agree to disagree and act civilly from now on. No more insults or threats from any party!

Seriously, knock it off. It would be much better if you all agreed to be civil. Honestly, this immaturity is annoying me. Are we adults or 6th graders?

This immaturity is annoying me also. However, here is part of a letter someone forwarded to me regarding Farenhiet 9-11. Interesting if nothing else. " Fahrenheit 9/11 opened here on Friday and we went to see it. The theatre was more crowded than I'd ever seen and there were oohs and aahs all during the film. At the end, applause broke out like I've never heard at the end of any movie. It's an astounding piece of work. Moore uses mostly news footage to make his points so it's really hard to refute them. I was in such a good mood I decided to add one more giggle to my day. I tuned in to the ultra-conservative Fox "news" show Hannity & Colmes to hear Hannity's comments on the film. He was like a little kid who just got beat up, saying, "they should have a film refuting this blatant pack of lies (Fox must have some really good film editors who can change what Bush said and did on camera). One of the guests interviewed (some Republican spin doctor) who claimed to see the movie called it an affront to our armed forces because it only showed the injuries to Iraqi women and children and not the injuries to American soldiers. Obviously this jassack didn't see the movie - Moore shows clips and interviews with American soldiers one missing both his hands and another missing both his legs just above the knees. Although I've never voted for a Republican presidential candidate, I've been a registered Republican all of my voting life. I did this because I've always lived in Republican stronghold counties. When Liane asked the road crew that was cutting down dead trees if they could drop off their truckload of firewood at our house in Duchess County, NY, the road crew leader radioed the main office and three minutes later four or five cords were headed to our front yard. In Boca Raton, the folks who clean up road kill were scooping up the dead possum in front of our house within an hour of our call." |
