I think we put too much into the Second Amendment.

The Constitution does not create a national government limited only by a Bill of Rights, it creates a federal government limited to enumerated powers. If the Second Amendment was gone, the Tenth Amendment would still make clear that the federal government has no gun control powers, and the State Constitutions would still limit the States' gun control powers.

The wife and son sent to grandma's but I'll be shooting it out. I won't run out of ammo but they won't take a cold gun from me. I'll try to make a "Roark's Rift" style of berm around the house full of those blue helmeted sissy's.

Dave's right. As long as the kids are grown up and out of the house. It'd be a turkey shoot. That's been my main goal in life, just get the kids raised.

With determination like what I have just read, the fed will have a rough time with us old geezers! I pray we never need to do any of this. But, the nightmare is not so far fetched as some might think!

Question

I think the probability of that coming to pass is becoming more certain with every right we loose,I suggest the reading of Unintended Consequences, some might even say the Turner Diaries, but I won't go that far.
Still,it could happen and will happen if certain folks get their way.

we are talking about a sh77 hits the fan thing here Dale. even you would jump in a ford then.
i would rather have a dodge or chevy but when it comes down to a gun platform anything that moves me into a better fireing position is fine with me.

In a situation like this, who do you think would be doing the house to house searches? The UN or the American Troops? How many of the american troops do you think would comply? If the UN comes in, how many americans would object? Just a couple of thoughts. In my case, I don't have much to tie me down, so I think I would go mobile. Then again, who knows what one will do til it happens?
