For the vermin they are, they are some smart critters. We use one of those callers with a CD of a distressed rabbit. Turn that sucker on and be ready to shoot!

We used to use my sisters little poodle, she called him Sampson, but we called him bait, we'd put him on a leash and stake it in the ground and go hide some 20 - 30 yards from bait. Well ol bait didn't like being left alone out in the middle of a field and he would cry and cry. Well of course the coyotes heard this and came a runnign until they died of lead poisoning!! hehehehehe.

You could always get your self some greyhounds, a few folks around here use greyhounds to hunt coyotes, those greyhounds run them suckers down and chew 'em up pretty good.

Ah, yes, coyote hunting is alot of fun!!!

Yes, sampson is alive and well and still biting ankles and licking people to death. His 8th b-day was a couple of months ago, of course I had to buy him something after all the good hunting he does for me. Well I bought him a 4 foot long raw hide and that little pecker wood can pick it up, but getting through the doorway is the funniest dang thing I have seen in a long time. Strong little dog but not to smart, takes after his human uncle (me).
