Weapon on PR !!!

This pic is from the local newspaper, the paper said that the police confiscated this weapons from a properly licenced gun owner that had more than 125 weapons.

The owner is facing various weapons charges 'cause there were found in his posesion various weapons with the serial numbers filed or mutilated and had posesion of various classIII weapons without the proper permits.

This criminal was brought to justice by a CI that informed investigators of a gun renting operation for the local drug dealers and the mob.

He was mascarading the operation with a company which rented guns for movie makers, "Ironically here in PR we don't produce that many movies to justify a bussiness of that kind" say local police superintendent.

This guy certainly gives us all a black eye - makes us look bad to the sheeple.
I hope the PR Feds put him under the jail for a very long time.

Yep, they're throwing away the key on this one, that report is couple of weeks old, latest news is that he's facing federal charges as well as state charges and the ballistic matches of diferent shootings are being held against him !!

That's more than enough guns to fill my gun cabinet.

I'm not aware of what the laws are in P.R. relating to firearms. Are they similar to laws in many U.S. states?

yep, it's a cross between Kalifornia and Florida, some things are very restricted and some are liberated to the max.
Penalties are very strict and they double if the crime has drugs involved or mob related.

CCW is allowed for the law abiding citizen provided you pay the apropiate fee, and you only can defend yourself with the gun registered for defense purpose, only S/G for hunting, again pay the proper fee.

Restrictions on weapons design are very similar to the federal law and no classIII unless they know your underwear size and the FBI an ATF clears you, of course you have to pay the proper fee.

Fees here are between $250.00 and over a $1,000.00 depending on what you like.

That's a resumen of it!!

The permit now last for 5 years instead of the 3 years that used to be.

Its unfortunate that they will destroy many of those perfectly good toys because that guy failed to obey the law -- yes he should be locked up for his renting to criminals but that would be all I would see

the big one looks like it has a russian gripstock and could be a small shoulder fired rocket. There is also what looks to be a 40mm
