Police: Teens watched rape at party
Associated Press
BEDFORD -- A 15-year-old girl was raped while fellow students watched after being drugged at a weekend party, police said.

The alleged sexual assault occurred after the teenager and a friend went to a home in Bedford early Friday, police said. No parents were home at the time of the party and the teen was given alcohol.

"She began not feeling well and started passing out," Bedford police Lt. Biff Schuessler said in a story in today's editions of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "Her friend took her to a bed and told her to sleep for a while."

Another teenager was allegedly assaulting the girl when she awoke, police said. She fell to the floor and he continued to assault her.

"She was still groggy when this happened," Schuessler said. "She looks around and sees other students from her school watching."

The girl passed out again after the assault and when she woke up someone had put her clothes back on, police said. She went home but did not report the rape until Monday.

No one has been arrested, police said.

Police think some current and former students of Euless Trinity High School, where the girl is a student, may have been at the party. They plan to interview those students.

The 13th Amendment criminalizes "involuntary servitude" - "Except as punishment for a crime for which the accused hath been duly convicted."

We need to be excersizing that exception in this case especially. Work him dead and send the proceeds to the girl and child, particularly for the intense medical care she'll need.

well i have read ya'll post and the one that erks me the most is dale's post. how he said the parent's were wronge. let me tell you something you sayin that is like sayin i was in the wronge for what happened to my kid and it pisses me off to no end. i trusted the kids around my home and look what happened . it wasn't a stranger that did it it was a kid next door. i also lost what little respect for the cops around here being it's been 3 weeks and the cops still haven't arrested the kid or questioned him. mean while i have to lock my son in the house because this kid is still running the streets. hell the detective even took a vacation for a week instead of handleing the case. and i saw the kid yesterday walkin the street and my son asked why aren't they doing him anything??? refering to the thread the family probably trusted the guy. but as usual everybody will blame the parents for what happened. well all i have to say is wiat til it happenes to you'er kid then you can blame you'erself and not the perpetrator. as ya'll can see i haven't posted in weeks and i probably won't post anymore for a while i want so much to take and kill that kid and it's comin close. but what happened is not my fault or my sons fault. just like the thread it ain't the parents fault. you have no idea how bad it hurts for someone to say it's the parents fault. i think back and ask myself what could i have done to prevent this and the answer is nuthin short of never letting my kids go play outside and takin all thier childhood away but then i would have my kids hating me for not letting them play outside.

and incase some of you don't know (i found out 4 weeks ago that my nieghbors kid raped my son over 20 times) and when i say rape i mean rape. he was 5 when it first happened. fell free to reply but i probably won't be replying back got to much on my mind right now and knowone to talk to. now ya'll have a nice day because it will be a while before i have one!!!!!

Tommy, you are making even less sense than usual.

Where do you get off making a statement that I was comparing you to the parents of the nine year old?

ANY parent that knowingly allows (and approving) their nine year old to go away with a stranger IS WRONG.....period! Their conduct is just as much child abuse and neglect and they also need dealing with.

Now, if you feel like that is a comparison to you then you have a REAL problem, dude.

If you were to knowingly allow your child into a situation that might, and does, present danger, then you'd be just as wrong!

That is why the Priest molestors were getting away with so much for so long because no one would think they could do such a thing. Tragic.
I doubt any sane parent wakes up in the morning and says "Today, I'm not going to care what happens to my kid. The ice cream guy looks a little sketchy, why not let Susie hang out with him unsupervised."
You don't want to live in an ivory tower, but some days it looks pretty good considering what happens.
