| Super Moderator ![]() | I have to wait again Well I was almost done with a recent project until tonight - Last night I finished the new stock for my 1893 Marlin 32-40 WCF so tonight I went to assemble the rifle again to get it ready to check out on the range and I ran into one problem -- the trigger is worn out and will not hold the hammer in the cocked position. I guess after a 106 years of use it finally needed it -- Numrich had one so there was 30 bucks out the door. Otherwise I have preserved the original wood and the rifle could be put back to factory in about 5 minutes. For an old rifle it is a great shooter at 50 yards with black powder cartridges its a tack driver - at 100 yards I can hold a 2" group offhand. I'll post pictures when I get a digital camera available.
