Leaving to Mona Tonight !!!!

Leaving tonight to Mona Island, half way between PR and Rep Dominicana.

It has been 1 1/2 years since my last dive there, the best of all places to dive.
If weather is OK we may get to do the Monito Island, 3 miles NW Mona.

Monito is the best dive ever, very extreme and any big fish can come by, average depht is 80 ft 10 meters away from the rock, the rock comes out the water to a height of about 100 ft, no shore, just a big wall plumeting to 65 ft deep into the water, waves usually are 3 to 4 ft slaming into the wall so you have to jump from the boat at least 10 meter away from the rock.

if weather is bad, maybe we would do Mona north shore, lots of big fish and average depht is 80 ft deep, similar to monito, but average wave is 1 to 2 feet.

Hope to catch something big, 'cause I heard rumors that they're closing it to fishing and turning it into a MARINE RESERVE, fishing will only be allowed 5 miles from shore, (anywhere 5 miles from shore, is more than 3000 feet deep, forget the speargun in that water).

My underwater gun is going to get wet!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just came home, my piece of SH++ Ford Ranger broke down 50 miles from home on the way back, set me back $150.00 for the flatbed to get home.
Don't know what it is but sounds bad, cranks but doesn't turn the crankshaft!
Will take it tomorrow to the shop to see what it is.
