ruby ridge and waco were not wars,if they were clinton and reno would have been tried for war crimes. i admitedly dont know all the aspects of waco, but ruby ridge was nothing but murder. and in instances where the government acts within our borders and against its own people yes the press should be on it like a dog on a bone.but speaking for myself,i never heard one word about ruby ridge when it happened. it was quite a while after that i heard of the murders there. and both instances were not lead by the military.i believe i said they should not have total access to "wars" or "military actions" i cant remember which now. but one of those. police actions within our borders are differant.

Ernie Goldberg and Anne Coulter have strong conservative opinions but they're both in the media you claim is owned by the liberal cabal. That doesn't make sense.

If we didn't have a free press, most of the conversation on this site would not exist.

The press is liberal check the way they push stories nothing out of the majors (CBS< ABC, NBC, CNN )showed the positve light of what has happened overseas. Look at these when they refer to President BUsh they call him Mr. Bush not President that shows a clear bias. Gannett publishing has a clear statement that all papers owned by their company promote the liberal line they are to only allow a minimal side of the conservative opinion

Is this an example of Gannet's liberal bias?

Gannet's TN paper the Tennessean oonly allows for a single day a week where the editiorials are allowed to be on the conservative side. All the rest of the days they are pushing the liberal line -- I have been involved with the tax protests here and we have see it -- all three or the networks and the paper said we were trouble making protesters yet at every protest the press failed to see that there was no violence and the protests were used to educate kids about the process. All the press there claimed was violence yet the PD has no record of any such case at or during the protests over the two years the battles went on -- during the last election responsible for the gov. the paper would not do any positive stories regarding the Republican candidate but they did plenty to support the tax and spend liberal democrat. by the way your link doesn't work

Oh, sorry about the link. It was to the 9/11 comission citing the CIA and not the White house as at fault for a lot of stuff.
Your experience with the press in town is a good example of unbalanced reporting. I'd be interested to read those pieces which specifically distort the facts to further an agenda.

NPR spent a great deal of time talking about John Kerry and What'shisname.

Bias exists. If you or I ran a newspaper, we might be prone to tell our news in a different light.
Still, I'm glad we have the type of press we do, flaws and all.

I am not happy with the current press at all because they promote only the slime put out by the liberals and not the truth

Its simple The press is owned by liberals, you never hear about it on T.V. because they own the news, you turn on The TV knowdays all you hear is BUSH SUX KERRY RULES, it freakin redicules. I remember when they use to show anti-war rallies when their was one, but there was atleast 30 pro-bush rallies that knowone even heard about, its just rediculas.

Just because we don't see or hear Armageddon doesn't mean it is'nt waiting over the horizon.

From my studies it looks like most of the pieces have fallen into place with only two large ones left, then the ever popular term will apply,SHTF.
