I can see your point as well, and welcome all newbies that are true and genuine. But this close to the AWB, it seems to me that virtually every newbie is asking the same types of questions.

ON CSP they have a terrible time with Liberal Trolls asking all sorts of outlandish and wildly stupid questions, clearly liberals posing as us, kinda like communist sheep in wolf's clothing if you know what I mean....

Like I say, I did not mean to cast this to any one person here. It just struck me as odd, same as that reported AK 47 shootout with police in Texas recently. That is like the 3rd ever crime with an AK and it happens right before the AWB is set to go bye bye....

Maybe I am bein paranoid, and then maybe not....or maybe rufus put some funny stuff in my cheerios box...... LOL!!!

Good golly another doomsday scenario -yawn, OK I'll take the mini 14, flat shooter and 2000 rounds of 223 is alot lighter than 2K of 12ga or 762X39. And thanks for putt'n me in the woods, I hate urbaners, dang city folk anywho.

If I had to choose from only these I would say the Marlin 30-30 -- it can handle about everything I would come in contact with

My preference - 1911a1 (CQB)and a heavy bolt gun (Distance) M1 Garand for general fire.

Oh, now if I had meself a choice. Then it would be a DSA FAL carbine in 308 and that awesome little Para "Wharthog" .45 I'd have one on me tactical leg holster and one in the tactical vest holster. Of course NVG's, binocs, current topos of the AO, linsetic compass, GPS (can never have enough advise), various knives, grenades both frags and smoke, and if I can have it laser desig's on the FAL so I can engage during nightworks!!!! Thats all for now.
