What's the big whoop about AK-47's?
I always thought they were sort of a stinko gun. Educate me.

Super
:assult: :assult: :assult: :assult: :assult:
My only complaint is why the used a stamped model, the finishing is superb, look at the wood and the sights look straight!!

straight sights??? don't let the glare from that gold plating fool you. the only reason i am AKless is the fact that i have not found one with straight sights yet.
also note the well manacured hands holding the AK, typical Major not a hint of grubbyness.

I wonder if a brass or bronze receiver is feasible for the AK, ie if it would hold without being too dang heavy.

I'm thinking a milled receiver for a stamped kit, like I plan to do with aluminum.
