Stopper isn't it true that you will not find an officer in the military with a Tat and if so did you limit your ability for further promotion.

NCO all the way here, and didn't get mine until after I was out. They frowned at ya if you got one, but mostly because they knew what you were up to when you got it. Which was no good!!!!

I've seen a few occifers in my day with tats, but man that was like 83, 84, 85 and 86 long, long time ago. I don't know what it did for thier promotion boards or if it even comes up.

oww you panty wastes
My significant other has about 23 tatoos
roses around the waist, coy fish on the thigh, a big buddha On the butt(for me) a coupla dragons, parrots, indian stuff with feathers a dainty fairy on the left shoulder
pierces nipples,toung,ears,(multiple)
I am leaving out many
So is it erotic?
shure!
After all these years she still trips my trigger
she got those Tatoos because she wants them.
I like em too
See when it comes to Tatoos you can get whatever you want
Then you have to want what you get.
accept that decision and go on.
One of our biggest problems in this country today is no one can accept decisions made that they dont like.
but thats another topic all together.................

See I stopped this time.

It is a private and personal decision and I respect it as that. Unfortunately society has preconceievd ideas on the type of people that wear them. This I believe is based on the puritanism of the Judeo-Christian practices, most of which are anal retentive in allowing others to do what they want without stigmatising them.

Piercing's I find are really erotic and though I am not tatooed I am pierced.

What do you guys think about piercings? Don't worry, I have no tatoos and only one hole in each of my ears (and I was 18 when I got those done).

i find tatoos and piercing totally obnoxious. a real turn off. few years ago i saw a young lady clerk at a video store, gorgeous, but her face looked like she was hit with a grenade. she had so many thing stuck in her skin it was awful.

My ex wife had her sons ear pierced when he was about 14 or 15. I went ballistic.
"Everybody else is doing it" That excuse made me even madder
I learned to accept it but still didnt like it. An earring in a girl is fine. Its jewelry.
I think I would have rather seen a tattoo than an earring.

To each his own!

Tattoos may be attractive when a person is young, but it's hard to think of a 60 year old grandmother with a green tattoo on each arm. I remember in the Navy all the old tattooed guys with faded colors. It seems the dye reverts back to forest green.
Personally, I prefer the more natural look.

Personally I do not, and would not, have a tattoo, I do not like the idea of having a permanent picture on my body, so therefore I do not find women who have tattoo’s attractive. In contrast to Dennis I find this type of thing short sighted. But if that type of thing floats your boat, go for it, I could care less…..

Shaun, Tats on officers were highly frowned upon when I was active duty in the early '80's. When in ROTC we were told if you had any tatoos to let our instructors see them. If they were deemed offensive, your options were to either have the tatoo removed or covered up (ie. tatoo over it, a black spot, so to speak) or your were out of ROTC and had no chance of a comission. Offensive was defined as anything with vulgar words or sayings, any type of female form or any body parts, anything over a three or four inches square or anything that can't be covered by your skivies and T-shirt. Our first "real" Army physical was at Advanced Camp between our Junior and Senior years in College, we heard rumors during camp of several cadets sent home because of tatoo problems. Truth or rumor, who knows.

I don't know if times have changed for today's officer, but I doubt it.

as someone who has a couple tats, i still prefer a woman that doesnt have any. and if she does small and discreet is the way to go. as for piercings, the ears and bellybutton are OK, beyond that its getting trashy.
