This was awesome!

Yesterday Liss and I were walking into the grocery store. A cute blonde caught my eye, and no it wasn't Liss . She was all of 18-19 years old....which in todays world usually means she is about fifteen or sixteen in actuality. At anyrate, an African American male who was probably 6' 2" and at least two hundred lbs ran up behind her and tried to snatch her purse. The little blonde was spun around by his force, but didn't let go of her Dooney & Burke. Instead she turned around and knocked the sheeeeeet out of the dude square in the face. He's obviously stunned by what happened and in his dazed state two cart boys knock him to the ground and sit on him. The little blonde ran up to him on the ground and said something to him, and stomped him right in the balls. The people around us started clapping for her! It all happened very fast.

I was about twenty yards from it when it went down and took all of ten seconds from start to finish, but I called the boys who were on duty and gave a wit statement to them. They had to call EMS b/c she broke the dudes nose so I was told later.

She'll probably get sued now for defending herself, but it was good to see someone stand up for themself!

One for the good guys......but I forgot to get her number before we left...

I like to hear stories like this with a good ending!
The one thing that ticks me off is how in the heck can the bad guy sue when he was breaking the law in the first place?
Any lawyer or judge hearing the case should be banned from practicing law.

Man that justice occured fast. Great ending. Do you suppose she had any self defense training?

Yes, it's amazing that perps occasionally sue victims when they're violating other's rights or breaking in to other's property. At an elementary school building in my district a group of 18-25 yr old boys trespassed on top of the building, drank too much beer, and one crashed down through a skylight getting maimed for life. Then his family sued the school district. Go figure. Of course they lost the suit. One perp became a paraplegic over the injuries received due to his own criminal negligence. No...he lost his suit...and has become a lifetime burden to his family. I knew his family and it's cost them plenty. Yet, this was brought on by his own criminal trespassing and other stupidity.

Matt was probably by the beer cooler, trying to figure out if he needed another can of dip or the bag of pretzels on the end cap......

Actually she was dialing her cell as fast as she could....but then hung up when they took the dude down as best as I can remember. I think she was in awe.

Thumbs up

Wow! They aughta put that little blonde on the Force. She'd be great on the "shop-lifting" squad.
Our Mall here used to do that - there was a really cute girl in the security company - she'd stop in at the Game Arcade I was working in to play some games. Sometimes in uniform, sometimes in "civvies" First time I saw her in regular clothes, she was trolling for shop-lifters - she looked all of sixteen, cute as a button. I thought she was a local teenager!
She was well-trained in martial arts, and didn't take crap off anybody.
It's gotta really hurt the badguy's pride (among other things . . . ) when he gets clobbered by a foxy young lady!
