Latest Interests Part II

Well I thought I would update all of ya -

Sat. - I made it out to the airport for the intro flight and had a ball -- Went up in a Cessna 152 and once we got to about 1800 feet the instructor handed me the pedals and the stick and he ran me through some of the basics (Turns, level flight, some of the avionics and slow flight) Unfortunately now I have caught the flying bug :jet: and want to get my license. Any of you guys want to buy an 86 F250 4wd ext. cab Diesel w/ the 1ton Front axle and tow package. I have to fund flight school and the big truck is not a requirement for me having the Nissan and the Car.

Sun - Went out to my first USPSA shoot and had fun shot one round with the Sig in the factory class. It was fun I wish I could have used the 1911 but they require 10 round mags at min for them and I have to go get 4 new mags for that - Otherwise I had a good time and the Girl friend seemed very comfortable around all the nice toys.

Anyone want the truck??

It's like sex, isn't it? Remember stick and rudder and keep the ball in the middle.

Remember ground speed has nothing to do with air speed. And one will get you killed if not observed.

So far in the first day I was suprised about it and I do realize slow flight with full flaps is extremely tricky -- yet normal flaps and 70 is a nice feeling -- I just have to get comfortable with the occassional bounce in the cockpit from the airflow.
