Back on topic............ I propose that we conduct a valid experiment: Release all of the air from Spike Lee's head and then duct tape it to the contact surface of the right rear tire of Dale Jarrett's car. After Dale then completes 10 laps around Charlotte (Lowe's) Motor Speedway, if the aforementioned addition to Dale's right rear tire has added any noticeable stagger to the chassis set-up or if any vibration at all is detected by Dale, then we shall declare that Spike does, indeed have (had) a brain. |

Don't call Spike Lee a dummy. You should check out his movie "25th Hour". It stars Ed Norton and some other folks. Also, "Summer of Sam" was pretty heavy too. While his movies are not super commercially successful, he is a gifted storyteller and should not be dismissed. |

Well, Mr. K, I must admit. I've never seen one of Spike's movies, and am not likely to. The whole "Urban Hip" thing just isn't to my liking. But then, I don't care for a whole lot of big box-office mainstream movies either. Still, Spike Lee's comments were very offensively rascist - makes it even less likely I'll ever watch his creations. I can't see helping to support a film maker who disses my culture, while insisting that I embrace his. That dog don't hunt!

Spike Lee is a punk, I know of an incedent that happend in Europe. I talked to someone that was there. he is controlled by his fear. When he gets out of NYC he's a nobody and he hates that. when he is an environment where being the angry black man has no traction he flips out. or, has in the past flipped out. he can only feel better when he makes others feel worse. he mistakenly took some european bikers to be American and walked up out of the blue and for no reason started yelling at them, about something or other. the Danish bikers in France took uh action and Spike became dependant upon his body guard detail and !!!! near got his !!! beat See most everyone in Denmark speaks english. The way it was described to me, Spike is a Punk of the first magnatude.

Mr. K. I have seen several Spike Lee films and other than Do the Right Thing they all sucked. Even at the end of that one I really wasn't seeing things Spike's way. I don't find him to be particularly gifted. He is rather obnoxious though.
