Hey Mr. K and Spunkski, you guys seem to be overlooking the fact that Ms. Moore is on record multiple times spewing lies aimed at turning us all into tree-hugging, baby-murdering, welfare-receiving, gay, gov't-dependent, FORMER gun-owners! If you want to service him then go for it! I prefer to stay OFF of my knees. I saw part of BFC, walked out, and don't plan on wasting my money on any of his drivel ever again. He is a traitor and and a lying P.O.S.-he should be exiled!

I have seen 3 of his movies and I have not hugged a tree, killed any babies, (lately) gotten on welfare, turned gay, nor become govt dependent. although THIS admin. is making me lose more money and benefits than any other one. about the gun owner issue, The patriot act allows the govt to call ANYONE a terrorist and take their guns...don't blame moore for that. thank mr bush and mr asscroft.. wait until the next non-arab blow something up in the US... and he happens to be a member of NRA...who's doors do you think they will be knocking on?? about BFC, did ya see the part with charlie heston??? He looked kinda..silly, no ..maybe befuddled, no, I think it was just dense, whatever, it was halarious

Because once you are familar with the tactics of a propagandist there's no point in watching his carefully edited drival. I have read a ton of articles on the movie from people of both left wing backgrounds (Cohen, Hitchens) and right wing backgrounds to know that his film is rubish. Himler would have been proud to have Moore on his propaganda team. The factual inconsistancies in all of Moores work are !!!!ing. Why would I pay money to him to encourage him to make more crap to brainwash people with nonsense?

I seem to have missed out on quite a discussion here during the past couple of days.....was about to jump in and deliver some terse, nail spit'in rebuttal of my own; however, it appears that distinguished and patriotic folks like Lord Shrike, colt45, Toolman, Shaun, Rufus, etc. have already done the job in fine fashion (and being from Oklahoma, I ain't much of a talker anyhow). Well done, Gentlemen. My Compliments. You and that daisy Moore have a nice time at the theatre, Spunky. |

Rush Limbaugh and his ilk have no corner on the market of fair and balanced reporting of information. If you ask him, Rush will be the first person to say he is an entertainer. He gets paid to have an opinion. So does Michael Moore. Their opinions differ but their methods do not. It's good for ratings. They say things a little beyond the pale of what is acceptable because controversy sells. We're really aruging about wrestling. I say it's all fake. Everyone twists and inflates information to make a buck. You guys are arguing about the entertainment industry. Hello! This is not reality in any way, shape, or form. |

And it is not hard to argue that if the country leaned just 3 steps further to the right, we'd all be better off. Weather you consider Rush or the Liberals reality or not, many, many people do. And to my knowledge, at least Rush Limbaugh is open about being an entertainer, and is open about the conservative bias of his program. You cannot say that about a vast majority of the liberals and entertainers we call news casters. Their message is vile, full of hate to christians and moral people alike and full of lies and mistruths. They pass the swill out as honest journalism and reporting and the masses believe it. This then is the brunt of the objection and anger. One can be angry and morally object to the crap mainstream meadia outlets foist as the truth, and not be full of hate. For you kanenko, or anyone else for that matter to preach complacency, indifference, tolerance and apathy towards what is not only immoral, but dishonest, for you to call us hateful as we are outraged at the M Moores and Jennings and Kerry's of the world, well that is just silly. IMHO

I would never make fun of any persons health problems.. I was refering to BFC when Moore asked pointed, common sense questions that I would ask Mr heston and he had absolutly no answers, and looked confused as hell. his alzeihermers came up fairly recently, I think. so back to moore, if someone doen't agree with Bush they are unpatriotic? Are we supposed to agree with everything he and his dad's friends decide? What if by some small chance he is wrong?? still blindly follow? THAT sounds more like nazi propaganda than anything I could ever say.

Hestsons Diagnoisis was about 3 years ago. However Diagnosis and the actual onset of the disease are often 2 very different dates. Espicially in the case of mental diseases. To disagree with Bush is not unpatriotic. Many conservitves here on this board have disagreed with Bush myself included. However there is a line between dissent and sedition and Micheal Moore has crossed it. If you are going to disagree at least be honest and straightfoward with your dissent. Not decietful and devious as Moore is.

Michael Moore has admitted to his liberal bias. Don't cloud the issue with mainstream news. The nightly news anchors are a different arguement altogether. Stay on the topic. Also, who called you hateful? I did not. | |

Spunkski if you check Moore's previous films he shuns the personal ownership of firearms and blames it for Columbine -- when the blame lies in the parents hands for not disciplining thier children but rather ignoring their actions. Okay here is a test find out what is the leading story in most media today will the Klinton Darling Sandy Berger be the leading story on the majors tonight or will they lead with something else to make it seem like the Berger story is not important -- already in our paper in Nashville the story made page 5 now this is a breaking and critical story to the country and it gets pushed off page 1 for local stories that are not breaking news. Sounds like liberal bias to me

Nothing new from the liberal media. If that was a Bush aide or anyother republican that story would have a gaurenteed 2 week news cycly on the front pages of papers across the country.

to me the nra pushes personal ownership for any type of firearm. they don't seem to care if the people are smart enough to handle them, I think the nra should of had a much bigger role in getting them away from people who arn't smart enough or care enough, not just flood the market, what i don't understand is, how many guns are enough ? I think there should be some kind of IQ or psych test for ownership somehow... too many children have guns and get killed by guns...period...the nra spends tons to try to let any kind of gun out there, I don't see or hear them offering many solutions to it. can you help explain it to be?? sorry for the sloppiness, gotta go to the store

the NRA has the most extensive child safety program in the world, they suppost all sorts of youth shooting programs like the junior rifle team i coach. and offer about two dozen safety programs for adults, they push safety formost in every ting they do and spend allot more on helping lawenforcment keep guns out of criminals hands than any anti-gun outfit around. they are big supporters of keeping guns out of the hands of kids and criminals. as for kids being killed by guns, less than 3 a year are killed by guns, the rest are killed in drive bys and from other so called kids. they lump all the gang related and drug related shooting of anyone under 21 and call them kids killed by guns. if there should be an IQ test for anything in this country it should be to be a parent. far to many stupid ppl out there believeing all this liberal anti-gun crap to be reproduceing. you better do some real research on what the NRA spends thier money on. and double check the real sorces or your kids killed data tehn take an IQ test to see if you should be let out alone to come play with us.

However, the point is on topic. Moore is being given the same, if not more credibility than the netweork media. The middle ground voters that beklieve what the idiot box tells them are gonna take it as credible. That then is the issue. These same people will also belive all the rubbish the Celiberals are spouting out now as well. 3 factions of the same enemy in my book.

I am guessing you have never heard of the Eddie Eagle program which promotes gun safety and tours schools and the scouts and many other organizations. The NRA is responsible for many of the safety programs that have been created. Further more there are gun accidents because we took guns out of common every day life. if you look back 50 years when you could bring up the subject of guns in schools we didn't have these high rates of accidents. Accidents are caused by ignorance so if you eliminate the ignorance and teach the children about them at a you age then you eliminate the opporunity for accidents. As to flooding the market -- I believe that you should be able to own as many and what ever type of gun that you want -- my ideal collection will top over 500 pieces why should I be limited on how many I can have? I shouldn't because it is my god given right to own and bear arms.
