Maybe the bullets contain no lead and therefore safe to use to shoot coyotes and zombies in Kalifornia. The bullets are lighter and need different propellant, which needs a different primer???????????

I was told the primer was lead free in the NT rounds as well as the bullets. I guess using lead styphnate primers in the woods has caused Bambi to grow up with learning disorders.

If the anti-hunters don't get a bone now and then, they will stop all hunting. But who the heck hunts with .45's?

gandog you know somebody is gonna say I killed 500 deer with my .45 acp carbine you just wait . If this was posted in any other forum such as big game hunting I would guarantee that response. Most likely from a 14 yr old that has never picked up a gun.

With enough barrel, they would be legal for deer in Ohio. I don't remember offhand, but I think you need at least a 6" barrel on your handgun. The caliber must be .357 or larger. They define it as larger, not more powerful.

Those 'small primer' .45ACP cases are sneaky. Even though I checked the 200 cases I prepped a couple days ago, I found two WinNT cases when I was priming them! Had to quickly prep two good ones keep the count.

I believe this ammo was designed with indoor ranges in mind. I can't spend to much time at indoor ranges just for the strong smell. Even with the ventilation system it still makes me sick to my stomach after awhile. That's why I stick to shooting outdoors.

my dad has killed several deer with his .45 right in the yard during season. wouldn't be afraid of shooting a deer with the .45 out to about 60 or 70 yards. remember, it was designed to kill a man, which is a deer sized criter in itself. it's real good to put a shot deer out of it's misery if it's still breathing after the rifle does it's talking.
good shootin'
Jason
